Making the centre of Ennis an attractive place to visit has been named a top priority for Clare County Council.
The public realm works in the county town came to an end at the tail end of 2025 after two years of construction.

Carried out by Shareridge, the project involved the upgrading of various roads and footpaths across the town as well as the installation of a fountain at the Height.
Resident engineer Brian Frawley says it’s vital the town centre is an enjoyable place to spend time.
