Institutional investors, companies and not-for-profit organisations purchased over 170 residential properties in Clare last year.
New CSO figures show it was among the lowest figures recorded nationally.
Approximately 171 homes were purchased by non-household entities in Clare last year.
It marks a 40% reduction on the 288 homes bought by companies, institutional investors and not-for-profit organisations in this county in 2024.
According to the CSO, non household entities spent over €53.3m in Clare’s housing market.
Of the homes purchased by non-households, 157 homes were bought on the open market.
Overall, 1,549 residential properties were sold in Clare last year, meaning non-households accounted for just over 11% of transactions.
