It’s claimed carers in Clare are struggling financially as a result of ‘six years of broken promises’.
It comes as Family Carers Ireland found those in local authority housing in Clare pay €77.50 a week in rent, 58% more than Monaghan which was found to be the cheapest in the country.

The Government committed to standardising the Differential Rent Scheme in the program for Government in 2020.
