A visit to Clare by US President Donald Trump could still be on the cards.
Donald Trump was due to play a round of golf at his Doonbeg Hotel and Golf Resort today as part of a two-day stopover, on his way back from last weekend’s Armistice commemorations.

That trip was cancelled, but an open invitation from the Government still stands.
Group Political Editor of Independent News & Media, Kevin Doyle has told Clare FM’s Morning Focus, that a visit by Trump is a possibility next year.
