It’s hoped a major investment in Kilrush Sports Complex will benefit the entirety of West Clare in the coming years.
The facility is set to benefit from a €240,000 refurbishment, funded by Sport Ireland and the local authority.

Modern upgraded changing and shower facilities will be installed at the complex, with approval also received to provide improved lighting for the cross-country and walking tracks.
Kilrush Independent Councillor, Ian Lynch, says works will be completed by the new year.
