It’s hoped that a significant redevelopment of Ardscoil Mhuire will ‘change the whole focus’ of the school in years to come.
Earlier this year, the school was granted planning permission for a new modern campus and has now received approval to proceed to tender for enabling and demolition works.

The development will include sensory areas for special needs education, technology labs, a new gym and library.
Principal Bríd Herbert says the project will allow the school to greatly expand its curriculum.
