A transatlantic jet which made an unscheduled landing at Shannon Airport remains there this evening.
There were 321 passengers on board Jet Airways Flight JAI-234 which made an unscheduled stop-off at Shannon just before 2:00 this afternoon.

The plane made a diversion following a technical fault, which is understood to be a suspected fuel leak.
However, sources have stressed that no emergency was declared.
A technical examination of the Boeing 777 jet is currently being conducted to determine when and if it’ll continue its journey.
