An increased Garda presence is being sought in Liscannor following a number of recent incidents of trespassing in the area.
A public meeting has been held in the town following recent incidents of unauthorised access to agricultural land and private property.

Residents say the issue has plagued the area for years, with four incidents in the past month having serious effects on farm animals.
Lisdoonvarna Fine Gael Councillor Joe Garrihy says the “full rigours of the law” must be used against those responsible.
