A status yellow wind warning has been issued for Clare, as Storm Dave approaches.
Met Éireann is forecasting strong southerly winds with severe gusts and coatal gales.

Possible impacts include fallen trees, wave overtopping, difficult travelling conditions and debris or loose objects displaced.
The alert, which covers the entire country comes into effect on Saturday afternoon from 2 o’clock and remains in place until 11 that night, while a weather advisory is effect from 2am on Friday morning.
