A status yellow rain warning has been issued for Clare.
The alert, which also applies to counties Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Galway, is in effect from 6pm this evening until the same time on Monday.
Met Éireann has advised that possible impacts include localised flooding and difficult travel conditions.
Meanwhile, a status orange rain warning comes into effect for Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford at 4am on Monday and lasts for 24 hours.
Elsewhere at the same time, a status yellow rain warning will be in place for Carlow, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Offaly, Westmeath, Wicklow and Roscommon.
