Sinn Fein’s leader in the North is calling for a formal resumption of Stormont talks.
Michelle O’Neill has sent a letter to both the Irish and British governments urging a fresh round of discussions.

Power-sharing collapsed in January and talks have been at a standstill since.
Ms O’Neill has proposed that discussions resume on the 28th of August – adding that she is ‘keen to formally re-engage at the earliest opportunity in order to re-establish an Executive’.
