A high profile fundraiser for cystic fibrosis in Clare has been cancelled – with the group now looking for virtual support.
The Sile Callinan Memorial Tournament, a seven-a-side ladies football competition named after the late Cree woman, had been due to take place for the fourth consecutive year.

The three previous editions have raised tens of thousands of euro for CF support services for the people of Clare.
Instead, the group have launched a virtual event encouraging people to wear the jerseys of their rivals for a good cause.
Tournament organiser Micheal Talty says they wanted to do something a little bit different this year.
