Shannon Airport’s Head of Sustainability has described the Midwest facility’s latest project as transformational for energy saving and the visual aspect of the airport.
Together with the ESB, Shannon Airport Group have completed a project which promises to slash the airport’s energy consumption for lighting by two thirds.

Over 4,000 indoor and outdoor bulbs have been replaced with ultra-modern LED lights across the terminal building, car parks and airside.
Head of Sustainability at Shannon Airport Group, Sinead Murphy says it aligns with the their Sustainability Strategy to achieve energy efficient targets by 2030.
