Long NCT waiting times for motorists are leading to renewed calls for a second centre in this county to be fast tracked.
Analysis from this week shows a driver looking to book a test in Ennis today would be waiting until at least the end of October for an appointment date.

While the National Car Testing Service has confirmed a previously earmarked development in Shannon has stalled, it’s understood two alternative locations in the town have now been identified.
Independent Councillor PJ Ryan believes it’s important this process is sped up to ease the pressure on the Ennis centre.
