A Dublin based firm is hoping to be the next to expand into an Ennis industrial estate.
CCE Developments has submitted plans for a new leisure complex and café on the Gort Road.
The development is proposed for an almost 2 acre site in the Clare Technology Park.
It would consist of a leisure building, containing four tennis courts, a shop and café, studios, changing rooms and roof mounted solar panels.
To facilitate this, 40 parking spaces are proposed, including 2 wheelchair accessible bays and 8 electric vehicle charging spots.
The site is owned by the Shannon Airport Group, who have submitted a letter of consent allowing CCE Developments, which has been in existence since November 1999 to press ahead with the plans.
Clare County Council is accepting public submissions up until August 8th, with a decision due in early September.
