Plans have been announced for the recruitment of 50 Home Care workers across the Midwest.
Family Carers Ireland, a charity representing half a million family carers in the country, plans to recruit people across Clare, Limerick and Tipperary at a time of unprecedented demand for home support services.

Figures from the HSE show that over 600 people were on the waiting list for home support services in the region at the end of June.
