Planning permission is being sought for a large caravan park in Kilkee.
John Moloney has submitted a request to Clare County Council to build a site in Dough fit to service 23 caravans and four glamping pods.

Plans for similar developments in the area have been blocked twice by the local authority, saying that residential developments in this townland would be preferential.
However, the application cites an objective within the County Development Plan to develop new camping facilities in settled and rural locations as the reason for pitching the development.
