People in North Clare are being urged to come out in support of a charity fundraiser for Pieta House today.
A car wash is being held at O’Keeffe’s Garage in Ennistymon until 5 o’clock this evening, with all money raised going to the suicide and self harm support charity.

It comes as Pieta House this week announced an expansion of its outreach services into Clare, with a free counselling service to operate two days a week from Ennis.
Edel Browne of Apple Blossom Thrift Shop in Ennistymon is one of the organisers of today’s fundraiser and says it’ll be a day of fun but one that’ll raise much-needed funds:
