The 71 year old was arrested in Rio in August, amid allegations of ticket touting at the Olympic Games.
In a statement to the Irish Times, Mr Hickey says he is totally innocent of all charges against him and described the past few months as very traumatic for him and his family
The former President of the Olympic Council of Ireland also said he'll be undergoing 'ongoing medical treatment' under the care of his consultant.
