O Connors bakery to be honoured by town Council

Ennis Town Council is to honour O’Connors Bakery to mark 50 years of successful business in Ennis and the Mid-West Region.

Councillors have agreed to recognise the well known family business,  which now employs 145 people in Ennis, Shannon, Gort, Galway and Limerick, 50 years on from it’s early origins when Pat and Mary O’Connor established their first shop in Parnell Street Ennis.
