MidWest Simon is warning that no sector of society is safe from the threat of entering homelessness.
The charity’s latest ‘Locked Out Of The Market Report’ shows there were 14 properties available to rent within HAP limits across the country last month.

Currently in Clare, HAP limits range from €220 for one adult to €550 per month for a couple with 3 children, however the local authority can go 35% above these rates if necessary.
MidWest Simon CEO Niall Garvey says there’s been a major shift in the nature of people seeking homeless supports.
