A memorial event for those killed in the Israeli war on Gaza will take place at Shannon Airport this weekend.
The memorial will particularly focus on five-year old Hind Rajab who along with six of her family members and two rescuing paramedics died after being shelled by Israeli tanks while attempting to flee Gaza City.

The event takes place from 1-2pm at Shannon Airport Roundabout on Sunday, on what would’ve been Hind’s birthday.
Shannonwatch Founder Dr Edward Horgan says it’s an important event and expects no traffic disruption.
