Clare Gardaí are gearing up for one of their biggest ever security operations when President Donald Trump travels here in November.
The US President will travel with a large entourage when he comes to Doonbeg, while it’s likely that some protests will take place here at the same time.

Gardaí are to put together a security plan which has been likened to the security that was put in place when George W Bush stayed at Dromoland Castle in 2005.
On that occasion, 6,000 security personnel were involved.
