A man in his 30s has appeared in court after an attempted child abduction in County Monaghan.

He's accused of taking a car, with a 10-year-old girl inside, that had been parked in front of a business premises in Clones yesterday.
The child was recovered unharmed a short time later and a man was arrested in Cavan town.
He'll be back in court this Friday.
