Major travel disruption is being reported on routes across Clare, due to a nationwide fuel protest taking place today.
Shortly before 8am, a convoy of trucks, busses, tractors and commercial vehicles left the Banner Plaza in Kilbreckan to join the demonstration.

‘The People of Ireland Against Fuel Prices’ group says O’Connell Street in Dublin is the main focal point for supporters and speakers throughout the day.
Backlogs and delays are being particularly felt on the N85, near Clareabbey Roundabout, along with the N18/M18 where the Limerick convoy is also joining the protest.
