A status yellow rain warning is in effect for Clare today.
The low-level alert is also in place for Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Kilkenny and Wexford on account of Storm ‘Babet.’

Met Eireann is urging the public to be prepared for the possibility of localised flooding, poor visibility and hazardous driving conditions owing to heavy rain and blustery easterly winds at times.
The notice will remain in place until 6am on Wednesday morning.
