Shane Lowry remains three shots clear at the top of the Irish Open Leaderboard.
A birdie on the opening hole today saw the Offaly man move to -12 for the tournament.
Jacob Skov Olesen is the nearest challenger, the Dane picked up a shot on the Par 4 third to take him to 9 under par.
It’s been a nightmare Front 9 for reigning champion Rory McIlroy meanwhile.
Two double bogeys either side of a birdie and bogey see him on +4 for the day as he falls to +2 overall.

US President Donald Trump saluted onlookers as he arrived at in Doonbeg.
Two US Army Chinooks escorting Marine One landed shortly after 3pm.
Those in attendance at the Irish open also witnessed a flyover from Air Force One before it touched down in Shannon.
From there he was taken by cavalcade too Trump International Golf Links and Hotel where he waved at those standing at the entrance to the hotel.

The cavalcade arriving in Doonbeg ahead of the US President’s visit. Donald Trump is currently landing at Shannon Airport and will travel by helicopter to Doonbeg this afternoon.

There’s an air of anticipation enveloping Doonbeg during round 3 of the Amgen Irish open.
That’s true for both on and off the course as crowds await both the arrival of US President Donald trump and the first tee shot of Shane Lowry’s round.
It’s expected play will pause upon the arrival of Donald trump but it’s all action out on course for the moment.
Some good early scores including from Francesco Laporta who was -4 through 9 but none of the chasing pack have had time to really go and chase Lowry just yet.

The 45th and 47th President of the United States is expected to land at exactly half 1 , before he’s whisked away to Doonbeg on Marine 1.
Nothing has been left to chance at Shannon , with members of the Secret Service , Garda Armed Support Unit and more on the tarmac.

It’s been a blustery morning in Doonbeg, making for some tough conditions out on course.
These are, however, conditions you’d expect would suit Shane Lowry, who sits top of the leaderboard on -11 after a record breaking round yesterday, the Offaly man gets his third round underway at 2:30pm
Rory McIlroy tees off, just after 1pm from -1 is alongside playing partners Romaine Langasque and former winner Adrian Meronk.
