Ennis Lions Club is marking ten years of its annual Remembrance Tree fundraiser in the county town.
Volunteers have placed yellow strings of remembrance around the Christmas tree in the market for the last decade, with all proceeds going towards Cahercalla Hospice.

The public are being encouraged to donate online this year, with the usual hut outside Ennis’ post office restricted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Project leader with the Lions Club, Tom Carey, says it’s a poignant year to mark the initiative.
