Clare ranked in the bottom 10 in Ireland for the amount of A1 ratings and is the lowest figure seen in Munster.

Overall, 17% of homes assessed received either an A1, A2 or A3 grade.

This ranks higher than the average seen in the county since 2009, during which time 9% of homes were awarded some form of A grade.

On the other end of the spectrum 7% of the dwellings assessed between January and March received either an F or G building energy rating.

However, this represents the fourth lowest amount recorded across the country and the lowest total seen in the province while also ranking lower than the 12% average recorded since 2009.

B3 was the most common grade awarded across the first three months with 100 homes awarded this grade, while 237 dwellings received a grade in the B category, representing 29% of all homes assessed.
