The inaugural edition of a new music festival coming to Clare this weekend is set to raise vital funds for cancer services.
The 2026 Ennis Rock and Grunge Festival gets underway in Lucas’s Bar from 3.30pm on Saturday with tribute bands to Nirvana, System Of A Down, Rage Against The Machine and Weezer all set to take the stage.

The festival is raising funds for children’s cancer charity Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, and so far the official GoFundMe campaign has generated over €1,300.
Organiser Ferdia O’Sullivan says it’s a cause very close to their heart.
