The HSE is being accused of failing to deliver on its promise of a vital healthcare facility in south Clare.
At the latest Regional Health Forum Midwest meeting, Fianna Fáil Councillor Antoinette Baker-Bashua has asked for an update on the proposed Sixmilebridge Primary Care Centre granted approval in September 2019.
HSE Mid West claims a “disagreement between the developer and the landowner” has stalled the project but says that having recently finalised a review of the healthcare needs of the town, a strategy for progressing the project will be developed in the near future.
Councillor Baker-Bashua believes locals have been let down.
