Housing and homelessness issues are said to have dominated the work of Free Legal Advice Centres in Clare throughout last year.
The FLAC clinics in Shannon and in Ennis saw much higher than usual levels of people presenting to them for advice on these issues, where they are more used to family and employment law queries.

It’s led to concern about the unmet legal needs of those in this county and further afield and FLAC is calling on the government to ensure free legal aid is available to those facing family home repossessions.
