It’s hoped a vital social outlet for rough sleepers in Ennis can be installed in the near future.
Clarecastle Sinn Féin Councillor Tommy Guilfoyle requested the convening of a meeting with all relevant stakeholders to urgently examine the possibility of establishing of a daytime drop-in centre.

At present, those accessing emergency accomodation must exit their lodgings at 9am and are unable to return to the centre until 9pm that evening.
Councillor Guilfoyle says the centre would provide a safe location to help people get back on their feet.
