Clare Woman Who Raised €11,000 For Féileacáin Urges People To Speak Out Ahead Of Baby Loss Awareness Week

A Clare woman who lost her son during pregnancy is urging people to speak out ahead of Baby Loss Awareness Week.

Businesses across Clare are being asked to light up in blue and pink on October 15th to remember babies who have died during pregnancy as part of the Wave of Light event.

Ennis resident Louise Ryan, raised €11,300 for stillbirth and neonatal death support charity Féileacáin following the stillbirth of her son Harry in August of last year.

She’s told Clare FM’s Morning Focus that too many people suffer in silence after experiencing neonatal death.
