The Health Minister has promised to expand operations at Ennis Hospital’s Medical Assessment Unit.
Jennifer Carrol MacNeill visited this county yesterday as part of a fact finding mission aimed at enhancing existing services.

It’s understood the HSE has prepared a document indicating departments that can be moved to or expanded at Ennis, Nenagh and St John’s to ease pressure on University Hospital Limerick.
Speaking during her visit, the Health Minister says Ennis has much more potential.
