It’s claimed the number of people sleeping rough in Ennis is steadily growing.
According to the Department of Housing, 97 people were recorded as homeless in Clare at the end of May, but this only includes those in emergency accommodation.

Last August, Fiona Faulkes established the Mobile Shower for Homeless Rough Sleepers in Ennis.
Derek who regularly uses the service claims he’s better off outside emergency accommodation.
