Clare’s Independent TD has accused the government of supporting vulture funds over Irish families.
Dr. Michael Harty made his comments while introducing a Dáil motion, on behalf of the Rural Independent Group, which calls for stricter regulations around the operation of such funds.

The motion will be opposed by Fine Gael, who have put forward a counter motion on the issue.
