Garda numbers in Clare are at their lowest level in just over three years.
The total number of Gardaí here now stands at 305, down from 314 in 2020.
The latest figures published by the Department of Justice show there were 305 Gardaí stationed in Clare in March.
This includes 235 uniformed gardaí, 59 Sergeants, 9 inspectors, 1 Superintendent and 1 Chief Superintendent.
The majority of these, 227 in total, are attached to the Ennis Garda District, covering areas including the county town, Crusheen, Killaloe, Newmarket on Fergus, Scariff, Shannon, Shannon Airport, Sixmilebridge and Tulla.
The remaining 78 are attached to the Kilrush Garda District covering the Kilrush, Kilmihil, Kilkee, Kildysart, Ennistymon, Corofin, Ballyvaughan, Lisdoonvarna and Miltown Malbay areas.
Overall, numbers were down in the Clare Garda Division by 1 in March, compared to the end of last year, and by 9 on the figure at the end of 2020.
Clare Independent TD Violet Anne Wynne raised the reduction in numbers with Junior Justice Minister James Brown this week, in the context of an escalation of Anti-Social behaviour in the Bru na Sionna Estate in Shannon.

Additional figures released by the Department in response to a parliamentary question from Clare Independent TD, Michael McNamara show 30 Gardaí based in the county were redeployed in 2021 and 2022.
11 members of the force based here retired in 2022, as well as fewer than ten the previous year.
11 newly attested Gardaí were allocated to the Clare Garda Divsion between 2020 and last year, with 51 in total allocated to the county since the recommencement of recruitment in 2015.
