Proposals for a significant upgrade of Ennis market have moved a step closer to coming to fruition.

Local representatives in the town have called for a feasibility study to be carried out with a view to re-modelling and covering the town’s market area along the lines of the successful Milk Market in Limerick.
Ennis Town Council has now appointed an architect to draw up this report.
