Drugs with an estimated value of more than two hundred thousand euro have been seized at Shannon Airport.
Revenue officers seized 10.5kg of herbal cannabis at the Midwest facility, following routine risk profiling, with the assistance of detector dog Brody.

It’s one of a number of seizures in various operations in Shannon, Dublin, the Midlands, and Rosslare Europort totalling close to half a million euro.
These seizures are part of Revenue’s ongoing operations targeting smuggling and shadow economy activity and investigations are ongoing.
