Doolin Community Council Claim Lack Of Action On Litter Seriously Damaging Tourist Reputation

The Doolin Community Council claims the recent prevalence of littering in the area is posing a serious threat to its tourism product.

Clare County Council currently operates a daily waste collection service at the pier.

However with over one million tourists descending on the North Clare village each year, Doolin Community Council Secretary, Julia Stringer says the absence of public pins is inexcusable.
