A design team is being sought for the next stage of a major redevelopment of Raheen Community Hospital in East Clare.
It’s been over a year since the new 1.6 million euro extension to the nursing unit there was opened and the second phase is next on the agenda.

The HSE’s Regional Health Forum West has heard that the procurement of a design team for that is being progressed at the moment and is expected to be completed shortly.
Fine Gael Whitegate Councillor Pat Burke says it’s a positive step and follows work being carried out in other parts of the county:
