A Broadford mother says a children’s health service provides a vital lifeline to families across the county.
Bumbleance, Ireland’s only dedicated children’s ambulance service, facilitated 2,122 trips across the country free of charge in 2025 alone.

The charity is holding an Easter Bunny themed fundraiser on Saturday, April 4th at playgrounds in Tulla, Kilkishen and Broadford at 12pm, 1:30pm and 3pm respectively and donations can be made online at idonate.ie.
Organiser of the fundraiser and family friend of a user of the service, Trina Cooney, says families would be lost without the service.
