The National Car Testing Service says it’s ran into ‘significant difficulties’ in finalising the process behind the opening of a new NCT centre in Shannon.
A facility at the Smithstown Industrial Estate, which would be the second such centre in Clare, was intended to be up and running by the end of last year.
The NCTS has told Clare FM that a delay in contractual arrangements has delayed the completion of the intended building for Shannon’s centre.
