A Shannon-based Sinn Fein Councillor insists a fully State funded childcare system would provide value for money to the Exchequer.
The party will table a Private Members Bill today that calls on the Government to provide for pay increases for staff and a sustainability fund for providers in Budget 2022.
Childcare fees in Clare are believed to cost approximately 173 euro a week for one child.
