Calls For Clare To Impose Themselves Early In Rebel Clash

A former Clare hurling captain feels the Banner need to adopt a physical approach in Sunday’s Munster hurling championship clash with Cork.

The two sides meet at Supervalu Pairc ui Chaoimh off the back of opening round defeats last weekend.

Cork have not beaten Clare in this fixture since 2018, with the game also being the last time the sides met at the Leeside venue.

Feakle’s Tommy Guilfoyle says the focus will be on making sure Cork don’t have time and space to play their game.
