Clare Senator Says Citizens Assembly On Drugs ‘Most Important’ In Lifetime Of Government

A Clare Senator believes a Citizen’s Assembly on drugs will be the ‘most important’ of its kind during the lifetime of the current Government.

A Citizens Assembly on drugs policy is due to begin its work in early 2023, having been pushed back from this year.

Similar groups have already been held on biodiversity and the Lord Mayor of Dublin during the lifetime of the current Oireachtas.
