Crusheen Mother Urging Public To Support ’65 Roses Appeal’

A Crusheen mother who’s a full-time carer for her daughter with Cystic Fibrosis is appealing to the public to support a vital fundraiser for those living with the condition.

The inherited chronic disease causes severe infections and breathing issues and affects roughly 1,400 people in Ireland alone.

Cystic Fybrosis Ireland, is hoping to raise over €300,000 as part of its annual ’65 Roses Day’ on April 10th, which reflects how children pronounce the condition.

Chair of the Clare CFI branch, Deborah Kett, whose daughter Hannah is living with CF says there are constant challenges.
