A major solar farm in South East Clare has been given the green light.
Highfield Solar Limited has been granted permission for the construction of a solar energy development in a 9.4 hectare site in Cratloe.

It’ll include a single station electrical substation and access roads and fencing, as well as ground mounted solar panels.
Permission for the farm at Ballymorris and Garryncurra, Cratloe was granted subject to 18 conditions.
