Clare’s Sinn Fein TD believes the interim closure of Shannondoc’s services in Shannon is creating a health care ‘lottery’ for people in this county.
The HSE say the closure of the facility at Shannon Health Centre is part of their contingency plan response to COVID-19.

In correspondence to Deputy Violet-Anne Wynne, Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly says he believes the arrangement will provide a more efficient service for the people of Clare during the pandemic.
Deputy Wynne says the measure could pressure on Shannondoc services in other parts of Clare.
